A 90-minute conversation about how you live in your home.
The Comfort Advisor consultation is not a quote appointment. It is not a same-day-pricing window. It is not a sales call. The Advisor does not carry tools, does not quote on the spot, and is not paid a commission on close.
The Advisor does carry: a tape measure, a Manual J load calculator (an iPad app), a humidity meter, a sound level meter, and a notebook. The Advisor will spend roughly ninety minutes in your home walking every room with you, asking how you live in the house, taking measurements where needed.
Five business days later, you will receive a written quote by email. The quote will include a Manual J Block-Load calculation, a duct-design summary, equipment selections with model numbers, a written installation plan, and pricing valid for ninety days from issue.
There is no fee for the consultation. There is no obligation to accept the quote. If you decline, the firm thanks you for your time. We are glad to retain the relationship.
What to expect
- Scheduling. A Comfort Advisor will contact you within one business day of your request to schedule the visit at your convenience — weekday mornings, afternoons, evenings, or Saturdays.
- The walk-through. The Advisor arrives on time, introduces themselves, and walks every room with you. Approximately sixty to seventy-five minutes. The Advisor takes measurements, photographs the equipment, and sketches a floor plan on tracing paper.
- The conversation. The Advisor asks how you live in the house. Which rooms get too warm. Which rooms are too cool. What the noise of the current system is like. Whether anyone in the household has respiratory considerations. What your priorities are.
- The engineering. The Advisor returns to the office and runs a Manual J Block-Load calculation, designs a duct strategy, and selects equipment. This typically takes two hours of engineering time.
- The quote. A written quote arrives by email within five business days. The quote is valid for ninety days. You may take that ninety days. We will not call to pressure you.
